Mrs. Anderson, 72, Rt. 6, Florence, Dies At ECM
Mrs. Rose Lee Anderson, 72, Rt. 6, Florence, died at ECM Hospital today at 12:20
a.m. after a lengthy illness
A lifelong resident of Lauderdale County, she was the widow of Homer O.
Anderson, a member of Pisgah Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pisgah Methodist Church with Rev.
George Bretherick officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with
Morrison-Elkins directing.
The body will be at the funeral home until for the service.
Survivors include six sons, Clarence Anderson, Rt. 1, Cloverdale, Elmer
Anderson, Austin, Tex., B. K. Anderson, Los Angeles, Cal., H. J. Anderson,
Orange, Cal., Walter Anderson, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; four daughters, Mrs. Troy
Guy, Roosevelt, Okla., Mrs. W. G Baker, Salinas, Cal., Mrs. D. C. Clifton,
Bessemer, Mrs. O. W. Stanley, Muscle Shoals City; a brother, James House,
Cloverdale; a sister, Mrs. George Paulk, Cloverdale; 21 grandchildren, eight
great grandchildren.
Bearers will be nephews.
