Emma had attended North Plainfield High School in New Jersey and was a member of the Watchung Ave. Presbyterian Church in North Plainfield, NJ and a member of the South Plainfield, NJ Historical Society. Emma enjoyed flower gardening, and was an extremely talented artist and had a sharp eye for decorating.
Emma was an only child and only had a daughter, Janet F. Catarino and her husband Michael of Boiling Springs. She was very proud of her family and especially the time that was spent with them and her granddaughters, Stephanie J. Catarino Wissman and her husband Michael and their two daughters, Jenna and Allyson of Mechanicsburg, and Cheryl J. Catarino Slothower and her husband Chad of Boiling Springs.
Graveside service will be held in the Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Pines, NJ, at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing or visitation. The family request memorial contribution to be made to the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Rd., Harrisburg, PA, or the American Heart Association , 1019 Mumma Rd., Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
