Mrs. John D. Howell, 86, of 801 Cassville Road, died Tuesday morning after a long illness.
Survivors include three sons, Mack and Willie Howell, both of Cartersville, and Buford Howell of Canton; two daughters, Mrs. John E. Haygood and Mrs. Lucius Howard, both of Cartersville; a sister, Mrs. J.K. Bohannon of Savannah; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of God United Assembly with the Revs Clyde Quarles and J.W. Burnett officiating. Burial was in the New Macedonia Cemetery.
