Stanley J. Hydrisko, 75, of Milford, died Dec. 12, 2002, surrounded by the love and presence of his family, following a lengthy illness at the Hospice House in Merrimack.

Mr. Hydrisko was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Windsor, Vt., son of Stanley and Agnes (Tumielewicz) Hrydziusko.

He enjoyed a career in banking. He was a certified internal auditor, fraud examiner and chartered bank auditor. He served as a bank examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston, an auditor for the Harvard Trust Co. (now Fleetbank Boston Corp.) and as a vice president and late consultant to the Century Financial Corp., in Randolph, Vt. He retired in 1994, but recently continued to work part time as a bank-auditing consultant.

Mr. Hydrisko served on the Windsor Planning Board and was active in the Windsor County Republican Party. He was also an avid outdoorsman, photographer, gardener, violinist, antiques collectibles hobbyist and reader.

He served in the U.S. Infantry Special Forces from 1945-47.

Mr. Hydrisko was a graduate of the University of Vermont, and completed postgraduate work at the University of Wisconsin.

Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary Hydrisko Dougherty of Hollis; a son, Robert Hydrisko of Chester, Md.; a brother, Wesley J. Hrydziusko of Windsor; a sister, Veronica Ferguson of West Springfield, Mass.; four grandsons; and three nephews.

Funeral services are private. Burial will be at a later date in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Windsor, Vt.
