James Jackson "Jim" Huddleston, age 99, was a lifelong resident of Jefferson county. A unique quality about him: he was sought rather than apply for a job. He supervised the Gas and Water Systems of Graysville but was proudest of his welding skills. During WWII he welded boxcars.

Jim played baseball for Graysville and Sloss into his 40's. The Atlanta Braves will be missing their biggest fan. He loved to tell great stories from the past.

Daughter--Sheila Taylor (Larry);
Grandson--Peter Banish (Danette;
Two Great Grandchildren--Jackson and Elise.

Visitation at Crestview Memorial in Adamsville, followed by graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery.
