Miriam M. CUMBERLAND, 66, Akron, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday at her residence following a coronary attack. Mrs. Cumberland was born Aug. 21, 1914 near Talma to Delmar and Lucetta ALSPAUGH HUDKINS. She had lived her lifetime in the Fulton County area. She was married in 1931 to Vernon CUMBERLAND, who survives. She was a member of the Akron United Methodist Church, Akron Eastern Star, Amicus Club, Akron Womens Club, and the Friendship Circle of the Akron Methodist Church. Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Max (Shirley) RISNER, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two sons, Delmer [CUMBERLAND], Akron, and Robert [CUMBERLAND], Akron; eleven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Thelma) WILLIAMSON, Clearwater, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Haupert Funeral Home, Akron, with the Revs. John MOORE and Frank CRAMER officiating. Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday and until the services Friday.
