Lila Fern Hudson was born at home in Cottonwood New Mexico on March the 26th, 1938 to Gladys and RL Roberts. She was the middle child of 5. She got her stubbornness from her Dad, her mean streak from her mom and her love of family and babies from them both. She is survived by her baby sister Barbara June, her children, Rebecca Fern, Lynna Beth, and James Keith. Lila's oldest grandchild is with her in heaven Joey. She was blessed with 6 more Michelle Denise and her husband Justin Lloyd , Benjeman Warren, Kimberly Ann and her Husband Michael John and Elizabeth. She was blessed with 3 great-grandchildren Michael John, Madison Ann and Nichole Marie.
Lila's children were reared with an unconditional love which she extended to embrace the Son's and Daughter in-laws and her grand children by marriage. The Hudson offspring have always used these two questions to weigh an important life decision…How would mom feel about this and what would daddy have me do? Jim was always the moral Godly anchor of the family while Lila was its emotional center, its very beating heart.
Lila loved with all she had, without reservation. When Jim went to be with his Lord, after 60 years of marriage, it truly seemed she had lost her other half. She was never the same. She endured but never recovered. With the love and support of her children and her church family she was able to survive for three more years, for which we are truly blessed. She was reunited with her husband by the Grace of Our Savior Jesus on Monday April 23, 2018.
