Marjorie Hugghins Grimes, 84, of Robinson, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at a local nursing home. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 26, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, Waco. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Marjorie was born on April 22, 1922, in Jacksonville, Texas, to the late Leonard and Lula Hugghins. She worked as a touch-up artist in photography at the family owned business of Nichlos Studio. Before returning to Texas, she lived in Miami, Fla., for about 36 years, where she and her husband worked in the travel industry. She was a wonderful mother, a very kind, loving and caring person. She loved all her brothers and sisters at the Kingdom Hall, where she had been a Jehovah's Witness for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jerry R. Grimes.

Survivors include daughter, DeLou Kraft Raile and husband, Joe, of Katy; sons, Doug Grimes and wife, Eva, of Florisant, Mo., and Dale Grimes and wife, Mary, of Robinson; granddaughters, Alison Baker and husband, Andy, of Houston, Jennifer Osinski, of Davie, Fla. and Christina Grimes; grandson, Jake Grimes, of Missouri; and great-grandchildren, Rebecca Osinski, and Elizabeth and Janie Baker.
