Funeral services for Juanita Hugghins, of Tyler, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, in Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kerry Kirkwood and Jim Hahn officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hugghins passed away on Friday Aug. 1, 2014, in Tyler.
She was born in Troup to the late Richard A. and Loreta Brown May. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Mrs. Hugghins was a graduate of Troup High School and Tyler Commercial College. She also attended Tyler Junior College. She was an assistant cashier at Tyler Bank and Trust. She was an officer and director of the Tyler Woman's Forum, an officer of the Tyler Woman' s Building Association, chairman of the Smith County Heart Association, a director of the United Way and director of the Tyler Chapter of the National Secretaries Association.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Kerry Kirkwood, of Tyler; grandson and wife, Casey and Andrea Brown; and great-grandson, Brooks Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leroy Hugghins.
Pallbearers are Kevin Kirkwood, Price Hulsey, Sammy Dickerson, Duane Hett, Harold Vincent and Dave Peckens.
Family will receive friends, Monday Aug. 4, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Love In Deed at Trinity Fellowship Church.
