Graveside services for Sandra Kay Adkisson, 64, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2007, in Gum Springs Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral home of Longview.
Mrs. Adkisson was born August 27, 1943, in Longview, to Elvin and Mozell Hughes. She passed away Saturday morning, September 8, 2007, at a Longview hospital.
A lifelong resident of Longview, she worked as a corrections officer for the Texas Department of Corrections.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her cousins, Shawn Lee Smith and his wife, Christi, of Longview and Shawn Marcus Smith and his wife, Ashli, of Longview. Other relatives include Charlotte Shafer and family.
