MARY "MAGGIE" BAILEY -
Funeral for Mary "Maggie" Bailey, 72, of Decatur will be today at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Buddy Champion and the Rev. Ron Reinhardt officiating.

Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery with Roselawn Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends in the church parlor from 10 a.m. until time for service.

Mrs. Bailey died Thurdasy, January 29, 1998, at Decatur General Hospita. She was born March 8, 1925, in Indiana. She served as president of various parent-teacher associations and was a member of Decatur Cotillion Club. She attended First Baptist Church, where she worked in the library. She also served as a Cub Scout and Brownie Scout leader.

She is survived by her husband, Foster P. Bailey; two sons, Foster P. Bailey Jr and William Clifford Bailey, both of Decatur; one daughter, Mary Louise Woody of Houston; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Larry Mauldin, Jim Griffith, David Pennington, Neal Patterson, Michael Gentry, Jim Odom, Bill Chaffin and Jim King.
