Born Sept 1, 1890, in Wall Walla, Washington, she grew up and attended schools in Walla Walla, Wash., and was married to Harry Hunt at Kahlotus, Wash., in June, 1906. They lived there until 1912, when they moved to Kennewick, Wash. They moved to Walla Walla in 1926 and to Grand View, Idaho, in 1928. They farmed there until 1943, when they moved to Nampa, where she had since lived. Mrs. Hunt was a member of the Nampa First Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary No. 18, and Colfax Rebekah Lodge No. 24.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Collett of Boise and Mrs. Alice Taylor of Gold Hill, Ore.; seven sons, Donald and Glen Hunt, both of Nampa, David Hunt of Boise, Loyd and Deemer Hunt, both of Grand View, Paul Hunt of Portland, Ore., and Ross Hunt of Haines, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Fitting of St. Maries and Mrs. Dorothy Naether of Encino, Calif.; 35 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Harry, died in January of 1956. A son, Eugene, died in May of 1951.
