Merle H. Bond
Services for Mrs. Merle Hunt Bond, 90 of Ethel were held Friday at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle United Methodist Church with burial in the Tabernacle Cemetery.
Mrs. Bond died Feb. 25, 2004 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie B. Burns of Ethel; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton "Shed" Bond.
Officiating ministers were Rev. Maston Prewitt, Rev. Byrd Hillman and Rev. Chester Carlisle.
Pallbearers were Morris Massey, Willard Massey, Bob Massey, Ross Hunt, Benny Hunt and Jim Hunt.
Memorials may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church.
