Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10th at Baker Heights Church of Christ in Abilene with Wes McAdams officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Dolores was born September 23, 1941 in Jones County, TX to Nancy Bertha (Daughtry) and Ab Hunter, Jr.
She married Donald Link Adair August 8, 1959 at Noodle.
Dolores graduated from Noodle Horn High School. She was a member of Baker Heights Church of Christ and the Compere Home Demonstration Club. She sold Lady Love cosmetics for over thirty years and was a volunteer for the Hendrick Medical Center Gift Shop for over eight years.
Survivors include her husband, Don Adair of Merkel; daughter, Sheila Eaton and husband Dr. Kevin of Weatherford; son, Scott Adair and wife Cheri of Merkel; father, Ab Hunter, Jr. of Truby; foster daughter, Holly Mowat and husband Nathan of Burkburnett; two sisters, Nancy Vancil of Garland, Margaret Johnson and husband Dwaine of Abilene; brother, Jimmy Hunter and wife Judy of El Campo; grandchildren, Blake Steele of Abilene, Colton Adair and wife Brittany of Fort Worth, Corde Adair and fiancee' Celeigh of Lubbock, Natalie Steele of Weatherford; great grandson, Braxton; aunt, Azalea Daughtry of Dexter, OR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Tommy Hunter.
