Arlene Joan Hunyadi, of Hermitage, passed away at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 82. Mrs. Hunyadi was born Nov. 28,
1933, in Sharon, a daughter of Joseph and Jennie Mistretta Colapietro.

She attended Hickory High School and was a lifelong area resident.

Arlene was a homemaker and a licensed cosmetologist.

She was always busy doing something and had a variety of interests. She enjoyed many crafts, such as porcelain doll making, drawing and painting, and also enjoyed her dogs, growing orchids and fishing.

Arlene was proficient on the computer and spent many hours engaged in computer art.

Her husband, Steve 'Dike' Hunyadi, whom she married May 2, 1951, passed away Feb. 8, 1995.

Surviving are three sons, Steven Richard Hunyadi, Oklahoma; Christopher S. Hunyadi and his wife Beth, Sharpsville; and Rodney S. Hunyadi and his wife Tracey, Zelienople; 11 grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Michael, Raymond, Darrell, Alysha, Joanna, Connor, Janine, Lauren, Amanda, Kelley and Katy; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Anne Canady; and a brother, Joseph Colapietro and his wife Allegra, all Sharpsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Lee Hunyadi and Stephanie Jane Hunyadi; and two sisters, Shirley Snyder and Mary Jane Mazurek.

Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
