HUNYADI George Zoltan Sr. Born in Columbus, Ohio, April 13, 1915, George Zoltan Hunyadi Sr. was called home by his Lord, Jesus Christ, December 7, 2007. At age 2, after his mother's death, the family moved to Dombo, Hungary. On May 24, 1932, at 17, George and his older surviving brother, Andrew of Naples, FL returned to Columbus, OH. On March 17, 1940, George married Helen Vegh of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The family moved to Akron in 1949.
George is preceded in death by his wife, Helen; mother, Anna; stepmother, Maria; father, Andrew; brother, Matyas; sister, Margit; infant son; granddaughter, Barbara and grandson, Eugene. In addition to surviving family members in the US and Canada, he leaves behind many nephews and nieces in Transylvania.
