Graveside services for Anna Ruth Husky, 73, of Lubbock were held Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Floydada Cemetery in Floydada. Reverend Marcus W. McFaul officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of White Funeral Home of Lubbock.

She died Sunday, April 11, 2004 in Lubbock.

She was born September 27, 1930 in Earth, Texas to the late Hillary Oran and Opal Marie Tubb Collier.

Mrs. Husky graduated from Kemp High School in 1947 and attended Peabody College. She moved to Lubbock from Dallas in 1949 and married G.A. Husky December 15, 1949 in Lovington, NM. He preceded her in death January 1, 1997. Mrs. Husky worked with Mr. Husky at Industrial Metal Craft, Inc. as a secretary and Gene White Electric. She was a member of Lubbock Professional Business Women's Association and Central Baptist Church.

Those left to mourn her passing include a daughter, Andrea Dalene Husky of Sun City, AZ; three brothers, Kenneth Collier of Roswell, NM, Carroll Collier of Grand Prairie, and Dean Collier of Dallas; three sisters, Nita Smith and Gloria Thomasson, both of Lubbock, and Shirley McFaul of Seagoville.

The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
