ILL ONLY ONE HOUR.

Mrs. Henry Courtney Died Last Evening Very Suddenly.

Mrs. Henry Courtney of 1113 Center street, died last evening shortly after 6 o'clock, having been taken suddenly sick less than an hour before. She had suffered from kidney troubles and complications for several years, but death was not expected so soon. A doctor was called but arrived too late to do any good if such a thing was possible. She was the daughter of Pliny Irwin and was born in Berrien county, Mich., but had lived here since she was a child. She is survived by her husband, Henry, who is a commercial traveler for a large packing house, and a small son.

She was born Oct. 27, 1871. The funeral will be held from the Brethren church on Goshen avenue Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock.
