A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late William Pinckney Jackson, Jr. and Minnie Lee Greer Jackson, she was a retired employee of Southern Worsted Mill and a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jackson M. and Susan R. Copeland of Warner Robins, Georgia; two grandchildren, John Copeland (Carrie) and Michael Copeland (Amy); and two great-grandchildren, Tucker and MacKenzie Copeland.
Mrs. Copeland was predeceased by a brother, Clyde Jackson and five sisters, Thula Buchannan, Helen Phillips, Pauline Turner, Lottie Christopher and Frances Smith.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Bob Goulart.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 12:00-1:45 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary.
