MACON - Katherine Jackson Ivey of Macon passed away February 9, 2005. Services will be held at 11A.M. on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at Doles United Methodist Church with interment following in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Wes Moye will officiate. -Mrs. Ivey lived most of her life in Bibb County and was educated at Heard Elementary School and A.L. Miller High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Doles United Methodist Church where she served through the years as Treasurer and on various other committees. She has been a member of the Bibb County Home Demonstration Club and loved gardening and fishing. Mrs. Ivey was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, A.J. Ivey, a brother, Green M. Jackson, and her parents, May Slocomb Jackson and Wright Jackson. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
