A longtime resident of Macon, she was a retired educator with many years of dedicated service to the Bibb County school system. She was a devoted member of Tremont Temple Baptist Church. Interment at Macon Memorial Park.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter Sabrina W. Troutman, three sons, Capt. Bernard L. Jackson, USN, (Ret), Minister Servon J. Jackson (Audrey) and Maurice H. Jackson (Comalita), two brothers Issiah H. Cherry (Charlene), Johnny E. Cherry, fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
