Mrs. Cross died Thursday, Jan. 16, at Lawrence Medical Center. She was born June 13, 1931, in Moulton to John Robert and Lillie Mae Jacobs. She was an active member of Moulton Church of Christ. Mrs. Cross was well known for her cooking, sewing, love of family, and a playful spirit.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James D. Cross; one son, Keith Cross (Sandra) of Decatur; one daughter, Deborah Cross Barrett (Perry) of Moulton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Larry Jacobs, Randy Jacobs, Blake Mitchell, Lee Brewer, John Cross, David Cross, Monty Cross and Leonard Pearson.
