Lucille Jacobs Kimbrough Damron

She is survived by her children, W.J. Kimbrough of Fayetteville, Jean Jones of Birmingham, Sybil Douglas of Hazel Green, and Nelda Patterson of Hazel Green; her stepchildren, Rayburn Damron, Dean Wilburn and Barbara Richardson, all of Hazel Green; two sisters, Ruth Beegle of Hazel Green and Joyce Harness of Fayetteville; along with 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Oscar Kimbrough and Wilson Damron; her daughter, Jerome Clements; her parents, Elgie and Ivy Jacobs; two brothers, Charlie and Robert Jacobs; her sister, Annie B. King; and one great-grandson, Bucky Bates.
Visitation at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service at the Murphy Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Mike McFarlen officiating. Mrs. Damron's body will lie in repose an hour prior to the service. Burial in New Sharon Cemetery.
