Services held for A. James, New Post
Alex James, 74, lifelong resident of New Post, passed away Wednesday following a brief illness.
Mr. James was born at New Post on July 1, 1889. He was a veteran of WWI.
Survivors include one son, Simon, of Chicago; one daughter, Elizabeth Barber of New Post; one sister, Esther Belille of LaCrosse; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Military funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at the family residence. Interment was in New Post Cemetery.
The Koerpel Funeral Home was in charge.
