Mrs. Lillie Jayne Blanton died Friday in the Oak Hill Hospital after several months of Failing health.(Sept 21, 1971).
A native of Kentucky, she was born in 1895, and had resided in Ohio for the past 40 years.
Her husband, Amos Blanton died in 1972.
Surviving are four sons, Thomas Harrison Blanton and Jim Blanton, both of Jackson; Edward Blanton of Beaver, and Howard Blanton of Chillicothe; one daughter, Mrs. Eula Mae Stafford of Jackson; one stepson, Robert Blanton of Oil Springs, KY; and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Gladys Baldridge of Covington, KY; 19 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Pearlie Blevins of Paintsville, KY, and Mrs. Angeline Caudill of Cable, O.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Beaver Valley United Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Lyins & Samuel Murray officiating.
Burial followed in Beaver Union Cemetery, under the direction of the Hammerstein Funeral Home of Beaver.
Visitors called at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday.
