She was born May 14, 1913, in Springfield, the daughter of Thomas and Isabella Wilkinson Jayne.
She married John Herman Baker in 1935; he died in 1983.
Mrs. Baker was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors: a daughter, Eileen M. (husband, John) LeMasters of Springfield; three sons, James H. (wife, Patricia) Baker of Rochester, John E. (wife, Kay) Baker of Riverton and Thomas H. Baker of Springfield; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Jayne of New Port Richey, Fla., and Norman (wife, Mary) Jayne of Bay City, Mich.; two sisters, Elizabeth (husband, Joe) Waskul of Benson, N.C., and Nellie Caudill of Woodlands, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. Micheal Strong officiating.
Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
