Allen Ray Jayne, 46, of Wheeler passed away at 9:27 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008, at home. Funeral services were held today at Blake-Wright Funeral Home, Dieterich, with the Rev. Dan Smith and the Rev. Bob Fear officiating. Burial was in Honey Cemetery, Bogota. In loving memory of Allen, memorials may be made to his grandchildren's education fund.
Allen was born Jan. 21, 1962, in Effingham, the son of Jerry and Rosa (Marshall) Jayne. He married Juanita Nail in 1985, and she survives.
Allen worked for Advanced Powder Technologies in Dieterich and was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Hidalgo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Jayne of Wheeler; mother, Rosa (husband, Clint) McGee of Bogota; stepmother, Kathy Jayne of Newton; sons, Jesse and James R. Jayne, both of Wheeler; daughters, Leda Joan Jayne of Newton and Ashley Marie Jayne of Wheeler; sister, Cheryl J. (husband, Dale) Purcell of Newton; two stepbrothers, Wesley and Craig McGee; stepsister, Bobbie McGee; and grandchildren, Harley Jayne, Jasmine Kirkey and Jolynn Nevaeh Jayne.
He was preceded in death by his father; and stepbrother, Chad McGee.
