Mrs. Epperson, 41, Cancer Victim; Rites Saturday

Cancer claimed the life of a 41-year-old Bremerton housewife, Mrs. Ann Helen Epperson, 1141 Rainier Ave., Tuesday at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Epperson had been a resident of Bremerton since November, 1941. She came here from Hettinger, N.D., where she was born Oct. 5, 1916. She worked for Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co. until 1944.

On March 20, 1945, she was married to O.H. (Hap) Epperson. The couple had two children.

She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and past noble grand of the International Order of Odd Fellows at Hettinger. She was active in Cub Scouts and Brownies in Bremerton.

Surviving are her husband and son, James H., and a daughter, Jannelle L., all of the family home; her mother, Mrs. Lena Jensen, Bremerton, and a brother, Andrew Jensen, Silverdale. In addition there are several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are set for Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Lewis Chapel. The Rev. Arthur O. Wigdahl of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
