Joseph A. (Joe) Carrero III of Downingtown
Joseph A. (Joe) Carrero III, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, October 21, 2016, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Lynn D. Carrero (nee Deakins), sharing 29 years of marriage together.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Christine M. Carrero (nee Glaviano), of Garnet Valley, and the late Joseph A. Carrero Jr.
In addition to his wife and mother, Joe is survived by his sons, Benjamin and Christopher Carrero; sisters, Michelle Wright (Joseph Wright) and Andrea Carrero; brother, Michael Carrero, and nephew, Michael Jr.; brother-in-law, Richard Deakins (Kathye Deakins); niece, Jennifer McCreight (Ryan McCreight); and nephew Kyle Deakins (Katie Deakins). Joe is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to Joe’s viewing on the evening of Thursday, October 27, from 6-8 p.m., at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 28, at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 West Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester.
Interment will be at Union Hill Cemetery, 424 North Union Street, Kennett Square, immediately following the service.
