Albert was KIA on an Escort Mission of B-24 on a Bombing mission, they were attacked over the area by various Enemy Plane's on 13 Feb. 1943, he is honored Posthumously with an Distinguished Service Cross, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Army Presidential Unit Citation, Air Force Aviator Badge, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.
