Harry was the youngest of three sons born to Charles and Huldah Johnson. He never married or had children. Family history recorded that Harry received a serious head injury in a work place accident that occurred when he was young man. The traumatic brain injury left him impaired and he was institutionalized in the State Hospital in Warren, Pennsylvania until his death in 1969. No obituary has been located.
