She was born in Warren on December 7, 1927 to the late Gust and Bertha Eggler Johnson and was a lifelong area resident. She worked for the Warren County School District and retired in 1986.
Dorothy was a member of Tiona Methodist Church and also of the Farrah Grotto Farrettes. She enjoyed traveling and gardening.
She is survived by three children, Daphne Goldthwaite and her husband Ken, of Sheffield, Wendie McDonald and her husband Carter, of Stoneham, and Chad Grosch and his wife Trudi, of Salisbury, Md.; a sister, Winifred Gilfert, of Clarendon; five grandchildren, Kristi, Scott, Shawn, Justin and Cody; one greatgranddaughter, Madison; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Grosch, on August 17, 2002.
