Karen Jones Holleman, died of cancer at the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon. As the owner of Karen Holleman Cakes, she was affectionately known as "The Cake Lady". Karen was also the co-founder of Macon's Wedding Ring. She is survived by her husband Bruce V. Holleman of Macon; daughters, Mandi Bombard of Forsyth, Bethany Hamilton of Macon; son, Courtney Hamilton of Macon; mother and father, Rev. Wesley Jones and Mae Jones; step-children, Brooke Holleman of Atlanta, Shawn Holleman of Atlanta, and Linton Holleman of Macon; sisters, Sherrell Goolsby of Silver Spring Maryland, Anita Novak of Franklin, NC, Patsy Brimmer of Locust Grove, GA; six grandchildren.
