MACON - Cornelia Estelle Annis Pitts Jones, age 87, died Sunday, January 17, 2010, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held 2P.M. Wednesday, January 20, 2010, with burial in Macon Memorial Park. The Rev. Louis Stover will officiate.
Mrs. Jones was born in Macon and was a former member of Napier Avenue Church of God. She was a retired floral designer at Newberry's in Westgate Mall.
Survivors include her sons, Paul James Pitts, Jr. of Macon, Vernon Ray Pitts, Sr. of Macon; grandchildren, Vernon Ray Pitts, Jr. of Hawaii, Michael Shawn Pitts of Macon, Julie Phillips of Marietta, Natalie Pitts of Macon, and Paula Davis of Warner Robins; six great grandchildren; brothers, James B. Annis of Macon, Harry Lee Annis of Macon; sisters, Lillie Mae Roland of Byron, Edna Padgett of Macon.
