Rebecca Jones Dykes, age 74, of Woodstock, GA., passed away November 21, 2016. Mrs. Dykes was born July 6, 1942 in Atlanta, GA., a daughter of the late Walter B. Jones and Horteense Hopkins Jones.

Rebecca Jones Dykes was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Rebecca enjoyed walking with friends, gardening, and attending Bible study and shopping. Rebecca worked for thirty years at Southern Belting and Transmission as an accounts payable specialist. She loved her church New Victoria Baptist Church and was a dedicated Sunday school teacher and Awana's volunteer. She also loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons.

Along with her parents Mrs. Dykes is preceded in death by her devoted husband Grover Dykes. She is survived by her sons David Brian Dykes and John "Keith" (Brooke) Dykes; grandchildren Scarlett and Slate; sister-in-law Jean Jones; extended family Jerry and Beverly Smith and Steve and Tracy Kell.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Dykes was held in the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Interment was at Pine Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family request donation be made to the American Cancer Foundation. Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Parkway Kennesaw, GA., 30152, was in charge of arrangements.
