Lena Doyle, 88, Woodstock Lena Josephine (Jones) Doyle of Woodstock, formerly of Walker and Catoosa counties, died Thursday, March 13, 2008. She was 88. She was born in Rock Spring to the late Roland and Jimmie Scott Glenn Jones. She retired from Fort Oglethorpe Elementary School, where she served as school secretary for more than 20 years. Her grandfather was one of the original settlers in Walker County in the early 1800s. The roots of her family are in Rock Spring and she will join her husband of 60 years and several generations of the Jones family in Rock Springs Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Clyde Doyle. Survivors include her son, David Doyle of Woodstock; daughter, Patricia Morgan of Dunlap, Tenn.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services: Saturday, March 15, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial: Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation: Friday, March 14, after 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
