LaFAYETTE, GA - Don Lamar Jones, 56, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, in a local health care center.

He was preceded in death by his father, T.J. Jones; one, sister, Linda Worley; one brother, Larry Jones.

He is survived by two daughters, Donna (Nathan) Middleton, and April (Robert) Broussard; three sons, Lee (Lora) Jones, Matthew (Barbra) Jones, and Lamar Jones; mother, Syble Blaylock; two sisters, Diann (Russ) Frost and Lois (Mack) Waters; 11 grandchildren; special nephew, Anthony Jones and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. today in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends 2-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Interment will be on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Lafayette Memory Gardens.
