Allan Wesley Jones, age 65, of Chamblee, formerly of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, December 30, 2012, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, in Marietta with Pastor John W. Freeland officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta.
Born in Marietta, Mr. Jones was a graduate of Chamblee High School and retired from Atlantic Steel. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his parents, Nella and J.C. Jones of Chamblee; son, Jason Jones of Cumming; sister, Peggy Rogers of Kissimmee, FL; grandchildren, Jacob Jones and Savannah Jones.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1pm until the service.
