Nessel "Jones" Aleshire, of Seth, WV, passed away June 26, 2014 at her home after a long illness. She was born Dec. 20, 1936 in WV the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruby Hall Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Kenneth Jones, Clyde Jones, Hazel Dodrill, Phyllis "Clawhammer" Freeman and infant sister, Maryann. She is survived by her children, John "Butch" Tawney of Ohio, Ralph L. "Rick" Williams of Ga., Keith Williams, Joanna Capehart, Sandra Graley all of WV; siblings, Velma Tawney, Jennings "Dusty" Jones, Emma Lou Carr, Freddie Jones, George "Mo" Jones and Brenda Hayes; grandchildren, Shawn, David and Ashley Tawney, Grant Williams, Leslie Hicks, Jennifer Weaver, Stephanie Williams, Travis and Tim Capehart, Anthony Graley, and Dema Perdue; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 at Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, WV with the Rev. Jr. Perdue & the Rev. Troy Howerton; Singer the Rev. Jr. Perdue; Interment Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville is in charge of arrangements.
