EAST LIVERPOOL, OH — Mary Louise Andrews, 84, of Plaza Drive, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at the Calcutta Health Care Center.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel Robinson Jones, she was born on Feb. 23, 1922. in Grafton, W.Va.

Mrs. Andrews worked for the former Ohio Bell for 26 years as an operator and was a member of the Kingsbury Chapter of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of the Chester Church of the Nazarene where she served on the board and was a member of the choir.

Preceding her in death in 1983 was her husband, Virgil M. Andrews, whom she married on March 24, 1949; three brothers Paul, Joe and William Jones; and three sisters, Esther Jones, Ruth Jones and Martha Pugh.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Alan Andrews and his wife Carole of Calcutta and Mark Andrews and his wife Margie of Brighton, Mich.; a sister Mrs. Hazel (William) Martin of Glendale, Calif. Also surviving are grandchildren Jenna, Mark, Alex, Sarah and Megan Andrews and great-grandchild Riley Lockwood, stepgrandchildren Nicholas Pucci and Michelle Cline and stepgreat-grandchildren Rosalyn and Logan Cline and Joey, Meredith and Dominic Pucci.

Pastor Steve Cummings will conduct services at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at the church followed by burial in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester and on Friday at the church one hour prior to the service.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the church.
