Vera B. Jordan
MERIDIAN — Services for Vera Bruner Jordan, 82, of 9900 McMillan Road, who died Thursday at a Boise nursing home will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian, by the Rev. Stanley W. Day. Interment will be in Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
She was born June 1, 1893. In Atchison County, Mo. She moved with her family by covered wagon to Kansas in 1900, where she was reared and educated. She lived in Nebraska, Colorado and Washington before moving to Caldwell in 1930. She married James Bruner in 1932. He died Aug. 5, 1935. She had lived in the Caldwell, Nampa, Boise areas since 1930. She was a member of the Caldwell Christian Church.
Surviving are two sons, George F. Rambo, Caldwell, and William W. Bruner, Meridian; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Genevieve) Cornelison, Caldwell; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Koenecamp, Everett, Wash.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Eugene, and a daughter, Verdavieve.
