Marjorie Luna Jeffery, age 92, of Idaho Falls, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, in Idaho Falls.

She was born Aug. 7, 1912, to Arthur and Cora Mae Squires Jordan in Milo, Idaho. As a young girl, Marge lived in a sheep camp, and then a log cabin, while her parents homesteaded a ranch in Hell Creek, Idaho. In the late 1920s, the family operated a general store in Swan Valley. The family's primary home was a farm in Ucon, Idaho. Marge attended grade school in Ucon and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She attended Henager's Business College in Salt Lake City. She married Ralph Jeffery on Nov. 2, 1940, at her parents' home. Ralph and Marge lived and farmed in New Sweden, a quarter-mile down the road from his brother, Wayne, and Wayne's new bride, Madge Jordan Jeffery, Marge's younger sister. Marge and Ralph had two sons, Boyd and Rod. Ralph died Dec. 23, 1989.

Marge was active as a 4-H leader, Cub Scout leader and in the New Sweden School PTA. She was a member of a bridge club for 60 years. She worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for Keith Jenkins Construction, Idaho Potato Growers and Shippers, Russell Freeman, and Montgomery Wards. She enjoyed china painting and oil painting. She traveled over much of the United States and toured the sites of John Wesley's history in England. She was a long-time member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Marge is survived by her sister, Madge Jeffery of Idaho Falls; sons, Boyd (Gay) Jeffery of Blackfoot and Rod (Gwen) Jeffery of Idaho Falls; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
