Mrs Anna Elizabeth Kaufman, 75, a resident of Woodburn for many years, died Sunday at Toledo at the home of a daughter where she had been for the past six weeks.
Mrs. Kaufman was born in Iowa, December 10, 1873, and had lived in Oregon 73 years, coming with her family from Iowa. She had been a member of the Church of God for 28 years.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Roy Abraham of Toledo, Mrs. Frank Hanauska of Portland, Mrs. Lloyd Waymire of Woodburn, and Mrs. V. J. Hobson of Fresno, Cal.; and two sons S. E. Stoller of Hillsboro and E. E. Kaufman of Portland. She also leaves nine brothers and sisters, 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Ringo chapel here Wednesday with her former pastor, Rev. John T. Myers of Eugene, officiating.
