BRASS--Myrna Fern Brass (Kaye), formerly from the Sakimay First Na tion, born September 22, 1959, left for the spirit world on Monday, March 5, 2001 in Regina, SK, at the age of 41 years. Myrna was predeceased by her grandparents Jean and Wilfred Kaye, Agnes and William Brass and Scotty Musqua; parents Hubert and Philomene Kaye; grandchild Terry James; aunts Sylvia Brass, Norma George, Zilda Peigan; loving companion Lorne Peigan; uncle Billy Brass; brother Alvin Brass; cousins Pamela, Coreen, Calvin and Clayton George whom she grew up with and many more. She leaves to mourn her passing her children Clarissa (Shawn), Justin, Freddie, Corey, April and Lorena; grandchildren Serenity, Tommy Lee; brother Danny Brass; sisters Rhonda (Andy) and family, Isabelle and family, Sheila Acoose-Gould and family; grandmother Rose Musqua, all of Regina; a very special person whom she called "Mom", Doreen George-Acoose (Edward) of Sakimay; special aunties Ina George (Peter) of Sakimay, Carmen and Dolly of Regina; cousins Chad (Leona) of Regina, Denise (Adam) of Yorkton, Jenny (Elvis) of Yorkton, Carl, Clarence and Delbert of Sakimay; a very special cousin Lindsay (Sharon) Kay of Sakimay and a very special friend Mavis Keepness as well as many relatives from Kamsack, Sakimay and Regina. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. in the Indian Metis Christian Fellowship Centre, 3131 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK, with Rev. Ronald Quewezance and Rev. Hector Bunnie, officiating. The Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park. A Wake will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2001 commencing at 5:00 P.M> in the Indian Metis Christian Fellowship Centre followed by prayers at 7:00 P.M.
