DEATH CLAIMS WIFE OF GEORGE BURNETT
EAST SYRACUSE, May 12 – Mrs. Etta C. Kaye Burnett, wife of School Clerk George Burnett, and sister of Town Clerk Edwin A. Kaye, who died at the Womens and Childrens Hospital in Syracuse of typhoid fever, was about 27 years of age and besides her husband is survived by two sons, Arthur and Clinton; one brother, E. A. Kaye; and four sisters, Mrs. George Wrightson, Mrs. Frank Burke, jr. and Florence Kaye of this place and Mrs. A. G. Blakely of Brooklyn. Her mother, Mrs. -------- her. The sad feature of the death of the popular young lady is the fact that her two sons are also seriously ill with the typhoid fever and the hopes of Arthur's recovery are doubtful. The husband, stricken with grief and worry, is also under the care of Dr. A. W. Marsh. Mrs. Burnett has been a resident of this village since her birth and was held in high esteem by East Syracusans.
