She was the widow of Mitchell Bigwood, one time postmaster at Clintonville. She was born in Alder Brook, New York, May 3, 1888 the daughter of Thomas and Maria (Tierney) Keese. She was a retired school teacher.
She is survived by six nieces, Mrs. Marie Burke of Clintonville, Mrs. Alyce McDonald of Jay, Mrs. Katherine Rougieu of Au Sable Forks, Mrs. Teresa LaMountain of Johnstown and Mrs. Gertrude Schauer of Delamon; and one nephew, James Ryan of Buffalo.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning, July 16, 1968, at St. Catherine's church in Clintonville by Rev. John Wiley, pastor. Burial was in Holy Name cemetery in Au Sable Forks.
