KEITH, Gary Edison - 68, Country Harbour, Guysborough Co., died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Country Harbour, he was a son of Dorothy (Hudson) Keith, Sherbrooke, and the late Everett Keith. Gary spent most of his working years in Halifax, where he was employed with Imperial Oil as a furnace installer for 35 years. At age 53, he retired and moved home to Country Harbour. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time at his camp at Archibald's Lake.

He is survived by his common-law spouse, Joan Lewis, Country Harbour; daughters, Judy (Rick) Allen, Clearwater, Fla.; Bonita (Brian) Giles, Lawrencetown; Marianne (James) Kent, Dartmouth; Jennifer, Lower Sackville; brothers, Wade (Linda), Country Harbour; Jackie (Marjorie), Upper South River; brother-in-law, Robert Bryden, Country Harbour; sister, Nina (Bill) Lownds, Country Harbour; sister-in-law, Geneva Keith, Country Harbour; grandchildren, MacKenzie, Rachel, Samantha; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brother, Frederick; sister, Shirley Bryden, and infant sisters, Carol, Laura and Karrie.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, 17545 Highway 316, Country Harbour. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Country Harbour, with Rev. Dawn Dickieson officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
