Edna Cecelic, 70, died Nov. 3, 2005, in Seaside Health Care, Virginia Beach. Edna was born Oct. 4, 1935, in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Fredric Kelch and the late Cathrine Berning Kelch. She was a public health nurse. She is survived by her husband, John J. "Duke" Cecelic; four sons, Jerone C. Cecelic and his wife Betty of Nashville, Tenn., John F. Cecelic and his wife Martha of Colorado Springs, Colo., James E. Cecelic and his wife Jane of Virginia Beach and Joseph K. Cecelic of Newport News; two sisters, Mary Lou Kelch and Cathrine Brunswick of Versailles, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Daniel, Douglas, Jessica and Johanna. Private family services with burial in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, will be held Dec. 26, 2005. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Cremation Society of Virginia, Virginia Beach, will be handling arrangements.
