Olivia Kelch Arndt went to her heavenly home on Oct. 30, 2009.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1916, the daughter of William and Olga Roggenkamp Kelch. She was baptized Nov. 26, 1916, at St. John Lutheran Church in Lindenau by Pastor Utesch. She was confirmed on April 5, 1931, in Lindenau by Pastor M.J. Lorfing. She married Edgar Arndt on Oct. 9, 1938, in St. John Lutheran Church in Lindenau by Pastor Lee Simon. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1972.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was a former church council member, belonged to the Women of the Church, former secretary/treasurer and vice president of the Women of the Church, a member of Herman Sons, and was a nurses' aide at the Cuero Community Hospital for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Lillie Rau; and her brother, Wilfred Kelch.

Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Lindenau officiated by Pastor William Hill.
