Marjorie H. Chant, 83, of Port Jervis, NY, passed away Friday, December 21, 2007 at St. Teresa's Nursing Home, Middletown, NY.
Marjorie retired from the dietary dept at Mercy Community Hospital, Port Jervis. A life-long resident of the area, Marjorie was born in Port Jervis, NY on October 17, 1924, the daughter of the late Philip and Margaret Austin Kelch.
She was married to the late Benjamin A. Chant. She was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis; Port Jervis Seniors; and the National AARP.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 27 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery.
